Good & Easy Berry Crisp

 


 

 


Fill glass baking dish with fresh or frozen berries and/or other fruits.
Heat a small amount of spread-able fruit (same or complementary flavor as the fruit) in the microwave. Pour over fruit.
In a separate bowl, mix oats, a little brown sugar, cinnamon and enough melted butter or margarine to moisten the mixture.

Spread over fruit mixture. Add nuts if desired.

Bake at 350 F abut 45 minutes until hot through and top is lightly browned.


Some good combinations:

1. Mixed berries: blueberries, blackberries & raspberries sprinkled with nutmeg
2. Peaches & pears sprinkled with cloves
3.Apple, dried apricots & raisins/craisins: sprinkle flaked coconut & walnuts on top
